Linking a product key directly to your account grants you immediate access to digital sourcebooks, adventure modules, and character creator options.

Check your under your account marketplace tab to see if the book is already active.

Certain physical products, like the D&D Essentials Kit, include a paper slip with a product key for the associated adventure on D&D Beyond. However, this is not a universal feature—standard physical core rulebooks do not contain such keys.

Hover over the "Marketplace" tab in the top navigation bar.

Type or (preferably) copy-paste the product key into the text box. Keys are case-sensitive and often include hyphens (e.g., DDB-ABCD-EFGH-IJKL ).

Boxed sets sold in retail stores often contain a physical flyer with a unique product key printed on the back.
