Jim reports his commercial 45 copy of Andrea True Connection's "More, More, More (Pt. 1)" has an actual and printed run time of 3:02. I'm passing this along because the song's database CD entries containing a "45 version" comment range from 2:57-3:10.

Where Stanley Kubrick’s 1962 version used dark humor and heavy censorship to comply with Hollywood standards of the era, Adrian Lyne’s 1997 version took a more direct, melodramatic approach. Lyne, known for directing psychological dramas like Fatal Attraction and Indecent Proposal , focused heavily on the tragic atmosphere, isolation, and the mutual destructiveness of the characters' lives. Critical Reception and Performances

The 1997 cinematic adaptation of , directed by Adrian Lyne, remains one of the most widely discussed, controversial, and misunderstood psychological dramas in modern film history. For fans of cinema, 2025 has already delivered a strong slate of English-language films across various genres.

Critics acknowledged the film was well-made, acted, and scored (Ennio Morricone). For example, the Mary Oliver: Saved by the

Lolita (1997) is a drama film adapted from the 1955 novel of the same name by Vladimir Nabokov. While Stanley Kubrick directed an earlier version in 1962, Adrian Lyne’s 1997 adaptation is noted for being a more faithful, though still heavily censored, adaptation of the source material.

Because of the highly sensitive subject matter—inherently dealing with the exploitation and abuse of a minor—the film faced immense hurdles before it ever reached an audience. Distribution Hurdles and the "Rarity" Factor

Couldn't find any decent videos on YouTube of the 45
playing, but I think all of the 3:00 versions of
the song in the database actually run 1% faster than the
45.

Can anyone verify? Calling Mark Matthews.

Agree with crapfromthepast that Rhino's Disco Years,
Volume 1 is the best digital source for this classic. This
CD sounds like it is sourced from lower generation tape
sources than the other options, and tastefully mastered.
I turn up the good and turn down the bad!
