The story follows (voiced by Kelly Sheridan), a talented and spirited young ballerina studying at a prestigious ballet school under the strict eye of Madame Natasha. Kristyn dreams of performing her own choreography and dancing from the heart, but her teacher insists on rigid precision. During a rehearsal for an important showcase, Kristyn gets carried away by the music and improvises her own steps, causing her to fall and rip her ballet shoes. Discouraged but not defeated, she and her best friend Hailey (Katie Crown), a gifted seamstress, visit the school’s costume shop to find a replacement. There, the mysterious costume mistress Madame Katerina offers Kristyn a dazzling pair of sparkling pink pointe shoes.
